1. Coconut Banana Smoothie

This nutritious smoothie is not only a post-exercise meal, but can also double as a pre-bedtime snack. The protein in this drink can help catalyse recovery in muscles when you take it overnight.

 

To blend

  • 1 large banana

  • 1 scoop of unflavoured casein protein powder

  • 1/2 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

  • 1/4 cup milk

 

2. Pink Drink

This tonic is both Instagram-worthy and highly nutritious! This tonic is a blend of sleep-regulating cherry juice, rose, and sleep-inducing ashwagandha powder.

 

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces of almond milk

  • 4 ounces of unsweetened Montmorency tart cherry juice

  • 1 tbsp Manuka honey

  • ½ tbsp ashwagandha powder

Directions

In a small pot, heat almond milk and tart cherry juice over low heat. Wait for mixture to cool before whisking in honey and ashwagandha. Serve warm or chilled.

 

3. Chocolate Latte

This delicious latte is infused with red reishi to calm your mind and soothe your soul. The ashwagandha herb makes another appearance in this recipe.

 

To blend

  • 1 cup water (boiling hot)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 tsp reishi mushroom powder

  • ½ tsp ashwagandha powder

  • 2 tsp coconut oil

  • Dash of cinnamon

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • 1 ½ tbsp honey

 

4. Pumpkin Spiced Drink

This delicious drink is made with only 4 ingredients and can be made in just under 5 minutes.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Directions

Whisk all ingredients on medium-low heat in a small saucepan. Serve hot or chilled.

 

5. Spa Tea

Be charmed by chamomile, lavender and peppermint simultaneously; this drink will definitely help you fall asleep with the ultimate relaxation, not unlike the effects of a rejuvenating spa!

 

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lavender

  • 5 tbsp sage leaves

  • ¼ cup chamomile tea

  • 3 tbsp dried peppermint

  • 4 whole cloves

  • 6 cups water

 

Directions

Add all ingredients (except water) to a tea strainer. Boil a cup of water and let it steep. Add the remaining water and ice to serve.
