Under Armour's Test of Will is back (with a twist)!

What lies behind the achievements of great athletes? Training, precise nutrition, genetics? Having a combination of all three would definitely put one well ahead of the competition, but it would all be for naught if the desire to excel if absent. Willpower is the one thing all elite athletes have in common and if you think you've got what it takes to stand on the podium with the best of them, then you owe it to yourself to take part in Under Armour's Test of Will 2019!

This year, Under Armour is back for another heart-pounding installment of grit and brawn with their annual Test of Will. As Asia's premiere urban fitness challenge, athletes can expect to be pushed to their limits as they vie for the top spot through a series of grueling exercises.

For their 2019 edition, Under Armour is bringing something new to the table for the Test of Will: two competition categories. The Open Category will be split into three age categories, namely 18 – 34 years, 35 – 44 years and 45 years and above. The Elite category on the other hand, is a free-for-all that has added difficulties incorporated into the existing challenges.

In both categories, athletes will strive to accumulate the maximum number of repetitions across four exercises: double rope slams, rope Russian twists, reverse lunges and rope pulls. The exercises are designed to flow seamlessly into one another while also systematically accumulating fatigue across your entire body. Therein lies the challenge: you must strive to meet the judging criterion for your repetitions to count towards your final score!

While the rules may be demanding, Under Armour has designed a training guide to assist with contest preparation. It goes without saying that taking their advice would no doubt optimise your chances of winning, and the spoils are well-worth the effort! While all participants will walk away with an exclusive Under Armour Test of Will 2019 t-shirt as well as other various prizes, the top two male and female athletes in the Open Category (for each age sub-category) will receive a limited edition Test of Will 2019 medal. The overall highest scoring male and female athlete will receive a bonus cash prize of SGD$1,288, on top of all the other goodies! For the Elite Category, the top male and female athlete will earn the limited edition medal and will be awarded a cash prize of SGD$1,588 plus other prizes.

Under Armour's Test of Will 2019 will take place at the Suntec City North Atrium on the 6th and 7th of July, from 10AM to 8PM. Registrations can be done online, with the fees being SGD$25 (Open Category) and SGD$35 (Elite Category). If you've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to pit yourself against others in a battle of strength and endurance, now's your chance!
